Stylist / Sales consultant

Job description

Boutique 5e Avenue specializes in high-end women's ready-to-wear. For over 35 years, our boutique has been a destination of choice for its service, selection, ambiance and friendliness. Our loyal clientele is looking for a unique experience, and as an advisor, you'll be responsible for delivering that memorable experience. Our dynamic team is looking for an experienced sales person who is sociable, flexible and reliable for long-term employment. You'll also have the chance to experience other aspects of running a boutique, depending on your strengths.

Our clientele is exceptional and we are looking for a rare pearl who will be able to offer them the best of themselves.

The sales consultant has the following responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills

  • Actively participate in the store's objectives

  • Putting customers first

  • Follow-up on files

  • Participate in all related tasks

Skills required:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in women's ready-to-wear retailing

  • A sense of style and an interest in fashion

  • Pleasant, sociable personality

  • Punctuality, reliability and flexibility

  • Well-groomed appearance

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Sense of initiative

  • Good written and spoken French

  • Bilingualism is an asset

A letter of motivation is strongly recommended.

Boutique 5e Avenue specializes in high-end women's clothing. In order to always optimize the customer experience, we need someone like you to support the sales team. Join our passionate and dynamic team!

Job description:

  • Receipt of goods

  • Verification of quantities received and special orders

  • Merchandise labelling

  • Back-office management

  • Steam pressing of goods

  • Applying alarm systems to clothing

  • Ensure that the store is optimized and ready for sale
    - Ensure that the store is cleaned
    - Ensure that merchandise is well presented
    - Ensure that merchandise is replenished on the floor

  • Provide support and assistance to sales advisors
    - Folding
    - Hang and return merchandise to stock

  • Participate in all other related tasks

Skills required:

  • Punctuality, reliability and flexibility

  • Professionalism

  • Speed of execution

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Sense of initiative

  • Organizational skills

  • Pleasant, sociable personality
