Dea Kudibal founded her eponymous label in Copenhagen in 2003 with a collection of exclusive scarves made from vintage fabrics. Showcasing her taste for color and pattern, this modest beginning quickly evolved into a wider selection of garments. In 2008, the first complete DEA KUDIBAL collection was launched.
Dea Kudibal is a high-end brand dedicated to creating designs from the bold and vibrant to the soft and delicate. Working with iconic, high-quality silks, the brand is dedicated to striking prints and rich colors. Her design studio is still based in the Danish capital, and Dea Kudibal is now renowned for her flattering, elegant, feminine dresses and blouses in washable, stretch silk.

Deeply fascinated by fashion since childhood, young Dea Kudibal was eager to learn the craft of design and sewing. She turned to the industry's leading designers with her sketchbooks, and her perseverance eventually paid off when she was accepted to sew costumes in a theater. Pursuing her passion, Dea moved to London where she completed a BA in Fashion Management at the prestigious London College of Fashion.
Ambitious and dreaming of inspiring and empowering through quality and design, Dea launched a small business designing and sewing exclusive scarves and shawls. Her attention to quality and innate sense of color and print quickly made her creations extremely popular.
Returning to Copenhagen in 2003, she founded DEA KUDIBAL, which has since grown into the brand we know today - a brand that is continually fueled by Dea's passion for flattering design and craftsmanship, and which has succeeded in capturing the hearts of elegant women around the world.
